Conversations That Inspire

When I speak, my goal is to spark meaningful, engaging conversations around parenting, personal growth, and leading a values-driven life.

I like to think of myself as a “link-titioner” — someone who bridges the gap between research and real life. While understanding the why behind a concept is essential, transformation doesn’t happen without the how. My focus is on helping people translate insights into action:

  • How does this apply to my life?

  • What does it look and sound like in everyday practice?

  • What strategies can I use?

  • How do I build these skills and embody these principles?

My goal is for attendees to leave not just inspired, but empowered — confident that they know how to create the change they’re seeking, not just why it matters.

Audience Feedback

“Chris Parrott has become my new favorite speaker for both parents and educators alike. She draws her audience in with her charisma, humor, and a stead “relatability”, while discussing relevant and timely concerns. Most important, she gives us pragmatic tools to help teens cope effectively with daily life stressors.”

— Sue Sirlin, MA, LPC

Chris Parrott is a foremost expert on social and emotional learning and gives the absolute best talk I've ever heard on the subject of our children, what they're facing in today's environment and how we can help them. Chris' talk is filled with astonishing facts and will change there way you view your child's education and even the way you parent for the better. She has had a profound impact on me since meeting her following the shooting death of my six year old son at Sandy Hook Elementary. I firmly believe if we had the programs and teachings that Chris talks about the tragedy at Sandy Hook would never have happened".

— Scarlett Lewis, Newtown, CT

“I sat in on your inspiring session regarding mental health. Truly enjoyed the dialogue and was impressed with your honesty and willingness to hear the frustrations that were festering in the audience.... I love your approach to this subject and certain your advocacy will change one, if not many, lives.”

— Eric Edwards, PE teacher, The Chestnut Hill School, MA

“We engaged Chris for a presentation to parents in our community at our local library. The positive response was overwhelming. Parents described Chris as dynamic, humorous, and engaging. And most important to us, parents said they left with skills they could use with their kids.
